What bedding do you use for your horses?
I have always used good old straw, i love it, and it will always be my first choice i think, unless i can't use it for another reason such as allergies etc.

I dont have my own horses, but my friend uses straw too, always has. It would be my first choice too. Its warmer for them in the winter.
