I went riding yesterday (finally managed to get time as lo haven't been well) and almost plucked up the courage to take meika into to canter we started to build up the speed then I chickened out.I've had a few really bad falls from other horses when they have bucked me off going into canter so it has knocked my confidence. but who knows maybe i'll manage it next time as the horse is raring to go ( my friend canters her so I know she's fine it's just me)

awww. Its easy to lose your confidence isn't it.
I'd just go for it, if you know your friends horse is fine then just do it! I bet you'll love it and wonder what all the fuss was about!
